Create Outer Shell

  1. With right sides together, sew one contrast panel to one main panel along " side using 1/4" seam to create front of shell. Repeat with second contrast panel and main panel to create back of shell.
  2. Place the front of shell on cut fusible fleece. The wrong side of the fabric and rough/glue side of fleece should be together. Press with fabric on top, using wool setting on iron. Repeat with back of shell and second piece of fusible fleece.
  3. Place front and back of shell, right sides together (fleece-side out). Using 1/2" seam, sew along the sides and bottom, leaving top open.
  4. Clip corners, and set aside.

Create Inner Lining

  1. Place lining pieces right sides together. Using 1/2" seam, sew sides and bottom leaving a 1-2” opening for turning. Back tack at beginning and end of seams.
  2. Clip corners and turn right side out.

Finishing the Sleeve

  1. Place lining inside wrong side out shell so that the right sides are together. Use pins to keep seams lined up.
  2. Using a 1/2" seam, sew along top edge.
  3. Reach inside lining and using hole left in previous section, turn the project so both the lining and outer shell are right side out.
  4. Press 1/2" seam allowance under along the hole in the lining.
  5. Sew closed using a small seam allowance.
  6. Put lining inside shell. Press along the top seam, and topstitch along edge.
  7. Enjoy your sleeve!
