A Lovely Year of Finishes – February Goal

A Lovely Year of Finishes – February Goal

Whew! I am back from my Heather Ross Weekend Sewing Workshop, and I will share more about it later, I promise! Short version: It was amazing. :D

However, it’s time to set the February goal for the lovely year of finishes! February is short, and on top of that I will be gone for almost a week at QuiltCon later this month, so I wanted to pick something that was somewhat close to being finished. Therefore, I’ve decided to make my NuBees quilt my February goal. The top is done, but I bought too little fabric for the back, so set it aside back in September and never picked it back up.

  1. What a cute quilt. There are some really fun blocks in there. Good luck with finishing.

    • Thank you! My hivemates did a wonderful job. :D Step 1: Make a back and buy some batting! I can do this!

  2. Lovely top. And so very close to being finished. You can totally finish that off in a month! Says me, who hasn’t finished anythingn in months, just kept starting more projects lol.

    • Hahahaha I feel like it’s been forever since I finished anything as well! But I suppose it’s only been a couple weeks. Time is such a weird thing.
This handstitched assignment is making me feel like I’m falling behind on absolutely everything else. It’s a serious time sucker! I just know if I don’t get it done in time, I will put it down and never pick it back up!!
