My birthday is this weekend (yep, 25 again!) and to celebrate, I thought I’d give a present to one of you! Yay! Who doesn’t love presents?
Today’s prize is sponsored by the wonderful Julie at The Intrepid Thread. If you haven’t taken a look at her shop yet, you really should! She offers a lovely selection of modern fabrics, including my current favorites: Architextures, Honey Honey, and Salt Water. Julie just opened a brick and mortar store in Milpitas, CA, about 40 minutes from where I live, and I admit, I am there more often than I should be! It’s just so wonderful being able to see the fabrics in person.
So enough blathering, the giveaway is this lovely bundle of Lizzy House’s new line, Constellations, in the Lunar Landing palette. Isn’t it gorgeous??

My most favorite fabric line is Simply Color and right now I’m SO much looking forward to Amethyst Fat by Exclusively Quilters Fabrics to start showing up in the quilt stores. I just LOVE this fabric collection with all those beautiful shades of purple.
Oh shoot! I just realized I had an extra word in my comment and figured I’d better correct that. Someone might see the fabrics I mentioned and try searching and having that extra word could give them trouble.

I’ve been waiting for this collection to come out – my nearly 7yo daughter is fascinated with outer space. We live in the city so she doesn’t get to see the stars very often and I just love taking her out at night when we find ourselves in the middle of nowhere.

Happy Birthday. There was a time when I decided I would never count past 29. Then it became apparent that that wasn’t working and I said 39. Since some of my children have passed that threshold, I have to admit to being a little older. One great perk, when I turned 62 I got a lifetime senior pass to all the National Parks! And since we live near 6 here in Southern Utah, it’s been a great birthday present ever since. Thanks.

This is a great new line – I am using deep blues in my next project and this would offer great additions. I am also a fan of anything really simple and graphic that is non-directional.
