My friend Tsoniki @ Me Being Crafty has a podcast talking to creative people about being creative. And this week, she talked to me! 😀
I’d never done a podcast before, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it turned out it was kinda like hanging out chatting with a friend that you hadn’t seen in a while. This might be because Tsoniki is a friend I haven’t seen in a while, but I think it might also partly be due to the podcast format.
The questions were mainly about creativity and crafting and quilting, but somehow I ended up talking about building community, facing fears, social anxiety, being a woman in computer science, and how to do metal patinas. Two types of metal patinas, even! This is the kind of info you can’t just find anywhere (unless you google “how to patina” in which case you can find it easily.)
If you’re interested in listening, you can find the podcast here:
Also, you might be interested in the previous episode, which was with Julie @ Intrepid Thread! She chatted about starting a fabric business and about her new apparel sewing classes. Interesting stuff!
