There’s a little less than one month to go before we open the Pantone Quilt Challenge for your entries! As a reminder, the link party will open March 14th and close March 21st. There are some amazing prizes, and you don’t want to miss out on a chance to win them!
There’s still plenty of time to get your projects done, but if you’ve been putting off starting, now’s the time to get to it!
If you’re looking for some inspiration, Adrianne @ On the Windy Side posted a great wrap-up of some purple-themed quilts. And if you’re having trouble figuring out colors to pair with Radiant Orchid, check out my color post on the subject.
Here’s where I stand with my project. I can’t enter, but Adrianne and I wanted to participate anyway! I’m hoping to at least get the top done in time to show you all.
There’s been some beautiful projects showing up on flickr and instagram (#pantonequilt), and I wanted to share a few with you. Check out Adrianne’s blog for even more examples!

How are you doing on your projects? Are you planning to enter something?

Love those feathers!
Aren’t they gorgeous?! Tina did an amazing job with those. ๐
Thanks guys!! <3
I got my fabric and idea real quick but .. I haven’t started yet. Being procrastination freak I still have plenty of time, he he.
There’s totally time! ๐ I am excited to see what you make!
All the beautiful projects are making me like purple a whole lot more than I previously did.
I’m loving all the gorgeous projects people are putting together, including yours! ๐ Adrianne called dibs on featuring your project, though. ๐
I’ve finished my quilt top, but have decided to hand quilt it so it’s taking a while. I have the binding cut and pressed and ready to put on in a hurry if timing gets tight towards the end. I’m not posting any pictures until it’s finished
Ooooh, I am excited to see the full reveal! ๐ I’m sure the hand quilting will totally be worth it!
I still haven’t jumped! It’s next on the list, now that I finished my mosaic tiles quilt. Love the peek of your quilt!
Yay!! I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with the challenge. ๐ I’m hoping to get some spare time to finish putting my quilt top together, but I need to work on Eli’s grandfather’s quilt too. Always so many things going on at once around here!
I’m keeping my eye on things ๐ I’ve got to get a few things done before I can play more with purple.
Yay, I’m excited you’re going to play along! Good luck finishing your other tasks speedily!
Yes I am entering, I’m playing my cards very close to my chest – no sneak peaks from me! So far it has been fun but has now become a real challenge with the following type of thoughts dominating at the moment: “OMG, how on earth am I going to piece that?”, “hmmm, maybe this wasn’t a good idea after all”.
Hahaha I go through those stages with almost every project. ๐ There’s also the “WHAT was I thinking?!?” stage in there. Try not to let those negative thoughts dissuade you! It’s when we’re out of our comfort zone that we make our best work. ๐
Running behind on blog reading because I was working on my Pantone Challenge quilt! It’s finished. Now I’m looking for the perfect spot for some styled photography. Hope we have some nice weather this week! It will be great to see all the finishes.
Yay!! I’m so excited that it’s finished! I snuck a peek over at your blog, and it looks beautiful. ๐ I hope you find the perfect styling for it, and the weather cooperates for you! ๐
