I have been watching everyone do the Finish-A-Long, and I’m excited to play along this year! Thank you to Leanne at She Can Quilt for hosting this year. Feel free to join in, and join the flickr group as well!
#1. Sew, Sew Modern Swap – The front of the pillow is done, but I still need to quilt it, and make it a pillow. And plan and make the coordinating small item!
#2. Madrona Road Challenge Quilt – Almost done with the front, and then I have to motivate myself past the basting stage (hate that stage), the quilting stage (I don’t know how I want to quilt this one) and into the binding stage (one of my favorites!)
#3. Tote Swap – Our guild is doing a tote swap similar to the latest round of Mouthy Stitches. I don’t even have fabric pulled for this one. *gulp*
#4. April & Kerry’s quilt – I don’t think I’ll get finished with this one, but I’d settle for just cutting out the pieces. This one has been stalling for over a year. Time for that to stop! It’s a very traditional quilt which is making it hard for me to get motivated.
#5. Quilt for me! – My boyfriend likes to joke that it sure would be nice if someone we knew made coverings that were warm, because I’m always cold and looking for something to snuggle in. So I’d love to finally make a quilt for me! I have two in progress quilts to choose from, too!
#6. NuBees Quilt – The top is made, just have to make a back and do that basting thing. I am planning to practice my FMQ on this one.
And…that seems like more than enough! We’ll see how I do! Come finish along with us!
