Today I went out geocaching for the first time in a couple of years, and I walked into some poison oak. This is what I get for going outside and not staying inside and quilting! 😀
So now I am inside where I belong, and thinking about quilting. And it’s time to post my goals for the 2nd quarter of the Finish-a-long hosted by Leanne at She Can Quilt. I don’t really think I will get done with all of this, but I figure it’s good to have a list for those times when I’m wondering what I should work on.
#1. April & Kerry’s Quilt – Cutting has started, and almost 2000 pieces are cut out! It’s totally going to get done this month. Who knows, the rest could come together in the next couple of months! 🙂
#2. Sew Sew Modern Bag – I have fabric, and I’ve finished the paper-piecing pattern (and managed to give myself a Y-seam in the process. Thanks self!) and a bag pattern and something that’s beginning to resemble a plan!
#3. 31 Quilts in 31 Days charity quilt – The top is done, I just need a back and some basting/quilting/binding. No problem.
#4. NuBees Quilt – didn’t finish this last time, so it goes back on the list. The top is done, I just need a back and some basting/quilting/binding. This is sounding familiar.
#5. Improv Log Cabin quilt – I have 8 or 9 blocks of this done. I want to make more and turn it into a nice throw quilt.
#6. Bento Box quilt – Fabric is cut for this, and three blocks are done. I just need to make 27 more. How hard could it be?!
#7. Handstitched class quilt – I just (just! ha hahaha) need to finish the hand quilting on this one.
#8. Granny squares – I have all the blocks, I just need to trim and sash them, then I’ll have a top. Then it’s that basting/quilting/binding nonsense again.
Definitely quite a bit to work on over the next 3 months!
