Sew Sew Modern Swap Complete!
I received my Sew Sew Modern swap package today, and the one I mailed out got to my partner as well! It was such a fun swap, and it looks like they’ll be doing another round. Check it out if you’re interested!
My lovely package came from owlybaby, and included so much awesomeness! First up is the pillow cover with tons of cute fabric choices! Text prints, Heather Ross, Denyse Schmidt, some pearl bracelets and a button print which is my favorite but is hard to see in this photo. Then there’s the Wiksten Tova top, the skeleton infinity scarf (perfect weight for the weather we have here!), the cute selvage and the gorgeous yarn (because she saw I wanted to learn how to knit!) Isn’t it super sweet?
I sent my partner a pillow cover as well! Just a quick reminder of what the front looks like:
And since my partner got her package, I can share the secret on the back of her pillow. My partner has a Scotty dog, and I found this hand-stamped origami Scotty dog print on etsy. It seemed like a perfect fit for the origami crane front, so obviously it was just meant to be! The pillow form I have is too small, so forgive the weirdly lumpy look.
Overall, it was a great swap, and I can’t wait to participate in the next round!
