Travellin’ Pic Stitch

I’ve been following the Travellin’ Pic Stitch Blog Hop hosted by Quokka Quilts with a lot of interest. The idea is that people choose photos that they took while traveling, make a palette based on that photo, and then create an EPP project with fabrics using that palette. A number of the blog hoppers used our palette builder which was really exciting!

I’ve been wanting to try EPP for a while, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it a go. I used a picture I took of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco at dusk, and a lot of inspiration from Elizabeth Hartman’s hexie pillow, and started at it. While the pillow cover isn’t done, I’m really happy with how it’s coming along so far!

Linking up to the Travellin’ Pic Stitch link party. There are a lot of great projects being featured there!
