March, where the heck did you go?!
I’m finally feeling mostly better from my cold and I got behind my sewing machine after what felt like weeks! Which means I haven’t made a ton of progress, but at least things are getting done again.
Modern Medallion – Yay, another round done! I picked up the fabric for the last round, as well as backing fabric and batting. I will hopefully get that done tomorrow so I can baste and maybe start getting some hand quilting going.
Heather Ross Drawing Challenge – After spending a number of days feeling stalled out (but I continued to draw), I finally ordered a couple of drawing books to help me get going again. They arrived today and I’ve been having fun working through Michael D. Mattesi’s Force – Animal Drawing. He was an animator for Disney among many other companies you’ve probably heard of, and it’s fun to draw in a different style. He suggests starting with seal/sea lions because their limbs are much more trivial. So I drew a bunch of blorpies!
Sew Sew Modern 2 Swap – I guess technically I picked up the bag pattern and the interfacing, but I’m still designing what this will look like.
April & Kerry’s quilt – I will make progress on this quilt this month, I swear. For reals.
